         The department of Computer Engineering is committed to produce top class software and hardware professionals through academic excellence and quality education. The department has developed excellent laboratories, equipped with all recent software and hardware. To support extensive academics and other activities of the Department an Association of Computer Engineering Students (ACES) had been formed.

         To conduct useful courses and technical seminars as per the present demand of industries.
         To organize various activities like Programming Contest, Technical Quiz, Debate Competition, Personality Contest etc. These not only enhances the technical abilities and knowledge of the students but also develop the students overall personality.
        To organize events like Project Competition, Paper Presentation etc. To help the students stay ahead of competition specialized courses are planned on hardware and software like Advanced C, C++, VC++, JAVA, XML, Design Patterns, VB, Oracle Programming, JAVA technology, PC troubleshooting and maintenance etc.

        To enhance knowledge of students, the department also has its own library formed under ACES. There are around 260 books and manuals on latest technology in the library. An online library and Internet facilities provided to students.

In keeping view with the needs of time a full fledged department is being established. At present, well equipped computer laboratory is setup with latest Pentium IV Systems. Faculty members of the department are putting hard efforts to develop department as a center of excellence. Internet facility is provided in laboratory for students. For second year students short courses on software and hardware are being conducted.
